DESCRIPTION:Bring your camera along for our Summer Photoshoot at Huxley’s Birds of Prey Centre near Horsham  on 4th September. \nWe will meet at 11am at the entrance to Hillier’s Garden Centre\, the bird of prey centre is accessed via the garden centre. \nThis is a chance to see over 80 various birds of prey\, with some of them taking part in flying displays at 12pm and 2pm along with “meet a bird” sessions at 12:30pm and 2:30pm. \nEntry charges are £11 for adults and £7 for over 65’s. \nFor more information see Huxley’s website.

DESCRIPTION:This evening we are meeting by the ice cream kiosk at the main car park\, Widewater Lagoon at 7pm\, (please note the earlier time) to take full advantage of the evening light. \nThis is an informal evening where members can get their cameras or mobile phones out and take part in a gentle walk around the lagoon and surrounding area. \nWe will then be moving on to Shoreham Fort at about 8:30 pm  to hopefully see and capture the departure of the Spanish galeon Andalucia at 9pm approx. \nMore experienced members well be on hand to give advice on camera settings along with hints and tips on photography. \nBring a tripod with you\, if you have one. \n

DESCRIPTION:Paul Waller ARPS\, will be presenting his talk via ZOOM tonight\, with the title “Access All Areas”. \nPaul has been taking photographs for over 50 years\, but joining Kingston camera club in 2017 opened his eyes to different fields of photography. He is known for his post processing and makes full use of Lightroom\, Photoshop\, Nik filters and Topaz. \nHis main interests are architecture and live music. \nPaul comments on his talk as follows;- \n“This talk features images from where I’ve needed special permission to take photos\, and I explain some basic technical details of taking the images and post-processing\, and give some tips on gaining access. \nThe talk includes images of water sports (rowing and slalom)\, architecture\, live music\, and the beginnings of a “Photo Fifty Strangers” project” \nAn interesting evening is in prospect.
