This years AGM will be held via ZOOM. This is your chance to air your views and also to be the first to find out the Set Subjects for next season. ZOOM instructions will be circulated a few days in advance.
All members and friends are invited to attend our Summer picnic. Bring you own camping chair, food and drink for this popular end of season social. Venue will once again be at Devils Dyke. In the event of bad weather, this event will be postponed a week to 19th June.
The 2025/26 season will commence on Thursday 11th September at the Deall Room, Southwick Community Centre with a Welcome Back and 2024/25 Awards evening. Potential new members are encouraged to attend this informal start to the new camera club season. No need to invest in specialist camera equipment, smart phones produce great images too!

Our own Steve White will be giving another informative presentation to Club members tonight. The title of the talk is "Subject to Change" so expect some creative tips and tricks. Steve's presentations on camera and post processing techniques are always informative and entertaining.
Irene and Allan, from last year's Magic Lantern Show, return in period dress for a studio shoot evening. Members will learn how to set up various different studio lighting options and will be invited to take photos with their own cameras. An informative and enjoyable evening is in store.
An informal and popular club night with members over the last couple of years returns tonight. A knock out competition, judged by members, is restricted to images taken on mobile phones, but can be enhanced by your usual software if you wish. Entering this competition, will not restrict entry into more formal club competitions.
Tonight Steve and Sylvia White will be leading an evening on evaluating prints. Members will evaluate and discuss the merits of prints in small groups and decide on a group score. A great opportunity for newer members to learn more about what makes a good print.
A practical evening in the Deall Room at the Southwick Community Centre with our studio lights set up. This is an opportunity to learn about being creative with light and to have a go yourself, so make sure you bring your camera along this evening. Further details will be given in due course.
A pre Christmas social evening for club members. This will be a fun quiz night and social event to get us in the Christmas spirit. Mince pies and biscuits will be provided. You are welcome to bring along your own non alcoholic drinks and nibbles.
