Southwick Camera Club have been invited to represent SPA in the annual Club Print Competition run by PAGB on Saturday 24th October 2026. It is a great honour and the first time the Club have taken part in the National Print Competition. This year the venue to Harper Adams University, Newport, Shropshire (not Gwent).
This competition is open to individual club members to enter PDI's and/or Prints against other club members from the Surrey Photographic Association. Further details can be found on the SPA website via the link below. Please note that members must attend on the day and that the deadline for entries is 3rd October 2026.
This evening we welcome members of Worthing Camera Club to the Deall Room at the Southwick Community Centre for an inter club competition. This is always a close contest and it is a chance to see some top quality images from our friends from Worthing. Malcolm Bull will be assessing the images for us tonight.
Steyning Camera Club will be hosting the Regnum Print Competition this year on Friday 20th November, but please note that the venue is The Henfield Hall in Henfield, and not at their normal home. Southwick will be hosting the annual Christmas Mix and Match competition with Steyning and Worthing on Thursday 3rd December at Lancing Parish Hall, Lancing. The annual Print Championships for SPA member clubs takes place at East Horsley Village Hall today. Southwick Camera Club were runners up last year and will be trying to do well again this year. This evening we have an inter club PDI competition with Steyning Camera Club at Beeding & Bramber Village Hall. Always an enjoyable evening hosted by our closest rivals. The judge tonight is Eddie Hyde FRPS.
Southwick will be hosting the annual competition with Maroondah Photographic Society from Melbourne, Australia tonight via Zoom. Southwick were victorious last year, but Maroondah always produce some stunning and interesting images from the other side of the world.
