This month we are returning to the Highdown Tea Rooms at Highdown Gardens. A chance to explore the unique chalk gardens which have been created in an old chalk pit, or venture onto Highdown Hill if weather permits, and perhaps take some macro shoot of the flora and fauna. An informal and popular club night with members over the last couple of years returns tonight. A knock out competition, judged by members, is restricted to images taken on mobile phones, but can be enhanced by your usual software if you wish. Entering this competition, will not restrict entry into more formal club competitions.
Local UK wildlife photographer, Richard Sharman ARPS, will entertain us with his images taken at local wildlife locations and reserves, including Warnham, Pagham and Knepp Estates. Round 2 of Open PDI competition takes place tonight via ZOOM. Our judge this evening will be Eddie Hyde FRPS. This is a chance to impress this award winning photographer with your best work where anything goes.
This month club members will be meeting at the Marine Gardens Restaurant, West Parade, Worthing on Friday 28th November for a coffee, cake and a chat. And, weather permitting, enjoy a stroll along the seafront and perhaps capture a photograph or two.
A practical evening in the Deall Room at the Southwick Community Centre with our studio lights set up. This is an opportunity to learn about being creative with light and to have a go yourself, so make sure you bring your camera along this evening. Further details will be given in due course.
