Club members were invited to photograph the Gurkha Trail by the Gurkha Charity Trust. The Charity will use images for their various media sites. The trail started at Winchester following the South Downs Way and finishing at Brighton Race Course. The volunteer photographers were allotted various feeding stations of St Boltophs, Devils Dyke, Jack and Jill Windmills, Kingston Lewes, or the finishing line at Brighton Race Course. It was a great experience being surrounded by happy, polite and friendly people, who could not do enough to help. We were even able to sample Nepalese food. The runners were amazing, considering they had just run 80 miles and were only half way, they still had enjoyment on their faces and did not look in the least way that they were running out of steam.
