This month we will be returning to the Port Kitchen by the Shoreham Harbour lock gates. After a coffee and a chat, perhaps enjoy a walk over the lock gates to the beach, and take a few photos along the way.
This morning we are meeting at 10am at the Air Show memorial by the old Toll Bridge for a photo walk along the river Adur. Bring your camera and walking shoes and look out for signs of Spring. There will be a chance of having a coffee along the way.
Save the date for our annual club dinner. This year we are planning to visit The Red Lion on London Road in Ashington. Menus and cost will be available a bit nearer the time.
This evening will include a short presentation by Peter Merrick, who will then assist a discussion/forum with Steve White. It is sure to be an interesting and informative evening conducted by two of the clubs most experienced photographers. An evening to look forward to.
Tonight is the club Print of the Year competition and our judge will be Bob Webzell. Bring along up to three of your best prints from this year's competitions for fellow members to enjoy again and Bob will have the difficult job in picking an overall winner for the year.
This month we will be returning to Brooklands Café for our coffee morning. A chance to walk around the park and the surrounding area after a coffee and a chat.
Our final competition this year is for the PDI of the Year. Entries in both Open and Set Subject competitions this camera club year are eligible for this end of year competition. Gerald Kitiyakara will have the difficult job in selecting a winner this time.
Our annual inter club competition with Maroondah Photographic Society based in Melbourne Australia will be hosted in Australia this year and will be available to view via ZOOM. A chance to see some outstanding images from the other side of the world. Times to be confirmed nearer the date.

The Surrey Photographic Association interclub PDI competition takes place at East Horsley on Saturday 9th May for both Nature and Open categories for all member clubs from Sussex and Surrey. Tonight we will be able to watch via zoom a recording of our annual interclub competition with the Maroondah Photographic Society, Melbourne, Australia held earlier on in May in Australia. It is always interesting to see images produced by our friends Down Under.
